Petersen, founding president, died in 1982 and will be represented at the ceremony by his two sons, Richard and David, who both graduated from OCC in the 1950s.

A reception at 5 p.m. in the student center precedes the program, which starts at 5:30.

Each president will receive a plaque during the ceremony and will deliver an address looking at the highlights of his or her presidency.
