Wonderware Corp.: The Irvine supplier of Windows-based software for the industrial automation marketplace posted record net income of $3.3 million, or 23 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, contrasted with a net loss of $4.4 million, or 32 cents a share, for the fourth quarter of 1996. Revenue rose 25% to a record $23.7 million from $19 million.

The company reported net income of $4.3 million, or 29 cents a share, for 1997, which included a $1.9-million charge related to a litigation settlement. For 1996, the company lost $6.1 million, or 45 cents a share, which included restructuring charges of $2.4 million. Revenue advanced 27% to $82.5 million from $64.9 million.
