LAGUNA HILLS — Imaging Technologies Corp. said Thursday it acquired McMican Corp., a Laguna Hills-based manufacturer of digital memory products, for 200,000 shares of stock worth about $9 million.
San Diego-based Imaging said McMican will operate as a unit under the name Digital Storage Products, where it will produce memory modules for hand-held personal computers, digital cameras and printers. McMican does business as New Media Memory.
Imaging Technologies, which makes and markets laser-printing technologies, said the transaction strengthens its position in the digital imaging marketplace.
