No Services Scheduled for Artist Lee Mullican

The family of artist Lee Mullican said Wednesday that there will be no funeral services, but that a celebration of his life will be scheduled in the fall. Mullican, an Expressionist painter and sculptor of the “Dynaton” school, died Tuesday in Santa Monica at the age of 79.

In addition to his wife, Luchita, two sons, Matt and John, and two grandchildren mentioned in Wednesday’s Times obituary, Mullican is survived by a stepson, Daniel Del Solar.
