Sweet Taho

Share

Taho is not a resort but a Filipino dessert made of pudding-like tofu topped with brown sugar syrup and tapioca pearls that are as big as marbles. Glendale’s Arko market makes its own tofu for taho, along with many other dishes that are on display at the take-out counter. Taho, which is sweet but not too sweet, is best eaten warm, so reheat it lightly in the microwave, about 30 seconds.

Taho, 1-pint carton, $2.75 at Arko Food International Inc. 1428 E. Colorado Blvd., Glendale. (818) 242-5921.
