TravelMax International Inc. has moved its headquarters from Newport Beach to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where its parent company, Network Holdings International Inc., is located.

TravelMax’s travel services, legal and finance departments have moved to Santa Ana, Network Holdings said Tuesday.

Network Holdings and its subsidiaries develop and provide travel services. TravelMax, which had a network of agents working from their homes, ran into financial problems in 1997 and temporarily closed in April that year.

Network Holdings said the moves to Florida and Santa Ana are part of a reorganization that will cut expenses by $750,000 a year.
