Country-Western Band to Play Free Concert

The city on Sunday will kick off the first of two free concerts with a country and western band that features a 17-year-old scholar.

Travis Parker, fiddle player for the band, the Buffalo Brewing Co., is a straight-A student and a starting right tackle for the Valencia High School football team.

Parker has been playing with the band since he was 10 years old and has helped make the Buffalo Brewing Co. one of the longest-running country and western bands in Orange County, city officials said.

The concert will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at Eastgate Park, in the 12000 block of St. Mark Street.

The second concert, with the classic rock group, Instant Replay, will be held Aug. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Village Green, 12732 Main St.
