New Navy Secretary Selected, Sources Say
From Times Wire Reports
Richard Danzig, the Navy’s former No. 2 official and a key figure in resolving a Naval Academy cheating scandal in 1992, has been selected to replace retiring Navy Secretary John H. Dalton, Pentagon sources say. Danzig, 53, who served as Navy undersecretary from November 1993 until May 1997, is a Rhodes scholar and a graduate of Yale Law School.
