ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

CorVel Corp. The Irvine provider of managed care services said net income for the first fiscal quarter reached a record $2.5 million, or 60 cents a share, up 9% from the $2.3 million, or 52 cents a share, posted a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 increased 16% to $39.6 million from $34 million.
