Missing Man Found in Elevator Car
A Seattle man who was missing for nearly a week was discovered in an unused elevator car, apparently after falling five stories down a shaft. Donald Robinson Wood III, 27, was in critical condition, suffering from a dislocated hip, bruises to the brain, severe lacerations and a badly infected leg, a spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center said. Wood was reported missing by his family July 18. A Seattle police detective investigating the report noticed the unused elevator in a downtown Seattle apartment building where Wood was reported to have visited around the time of his disappearance.
