at Washington

4 PDT

Site--MCI Center.

Radio--KLAC (570).

Records--Sparks 6-13, Mystics 2-17.

Update--The Sparks--losers of four of five--draw an opponent playing even worse. Washington has lost six in a row and 14 of 15. The expansion club ousted its coach, Jim Lewis, and promoted assistant Cathy Parson last week but the results have not been encouraging. The Mystics lost to Sacramento, 79-65. The Sparks hope to finish their three-game trip with a win, after losing at Detroit and Cleveland. They play Phoenix on Friday at the Forum. Washington has Olympian Nikki McCray at a guard spot, rookie Muriel Page at forward and former Spark Heidi Burge at backup center.
