CardioVascular of Irvine Hires CEO

CardioVascular Dynamics Inc. on Monday named Jeffrey O’Donnell its chief executive. The company said O’Donnell, who replaces Michael Henson, had been president and chief operating officer.
Henson will continue as the company’s chairman and as chairman and chief executive of Radiance Medical Systems Inc., a spinoff of Irvine-based CardioVascular.
CardioVascular develops and manufactures stents and catheters to treat vascular diseases. The company owns a 44% stake in Radiance and receives royalties from its product sales.
