Navajo Trackers Aid Search for Fugitives

Navajo trackers joined hundreds of law officers in an expanded search of rugged canyon country where two men suspected of killing a Colorado policeman are believed to be hiding. Searchers that converged on the small town of Bluff when a third suspect turned up dead along a riverbank were moving westward and back toward Colorado. The men being sought were identified as Alan “Monte” Pilon, 30, of Dove Creek, Colo., and Jason Wayne McVean, 26, of Durango, Colo.
