California Amplifier in Camarillo expects to report a loss of about 4 cents a share on sales of $9 million for the first quarter ended May 30.
The company cited a delay in new product introductions during the quarter, which hurt sales and operating earnings. Official results will be reported later this month.
In the year-ago first quarter, the company earned $130,000, or 1 cent a share, on sales of $12 million.
California Amplifier designs and manufactures a line of amplifiers, down-converters, antennas and other products for the reception of microwave signals.
