Goleta National Bank to Open Ventura Branch

Goleta National Bank is planning to open a branch office in Ventura.
The new branch, which is subject to regulatory approval, will be the second full-service location for the bank.
“We have a relatively large base of customers in the Ventura/Oxnard area and want to take advantage of an expanded service area,” said Lew Stone, president and chief executive of Community West Bancshares, which owns Goleta National Bank. “We will relocate our Ventura SBA and mortgage operations into the new branch, making the new location very efficient.”
Once regulatory approval is obtained, the new branch is expected to open during the third quarter of this year.
Community West Bancshares is a financial services company with headquarters in Goleta. Goleta National Bank has 11 loan production offices in California, Nevada, Georgia and Florida.
The company has previously announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Palomar Savings of Escondido. In addition, the bank is majority owner of Electronic Paycheck LLC.
