Real estate brokerage Marcus & Millichap expects apartment rent rents in Orange County to rise an average of 4% this year.

In a sign of low inventory and a strong economy, rents will increase as much as 8% in some parts of the county, the firm said in its quarterly Apartment Research Report for Orange County.

“A solid economy, low unemployment and continued job growth will continue to make Orange County a prime location for employers, corporations, individuals and investors,” the report said.
