Starr’s Chess Game

There is one thing Stephen Gillers excluded from “A Highly Strategic Legal Chess Game” (Opinion, June 7). He wrote, “But [Starr is] a long way from check, let alone checkmate.” There is also the possibility of stalemate, as in, this case is sure getting stale, mate.
