Odetics of Anaheim Loses Ruling on Award

One day after hitting a high for the year, Odetics Inc.’s stock tumbled $3 to $13.75 after federal filings revealed that competitor Storage Technology will get another chance to argue that the court should throw out a $70.6 million jury verdict awarded to Odetics in a patent infringement suit against StorageTek.
Anaheim-based Odetics develops, makes and markets products used to record digital, video and audio information for a variety of industries.
