Iran Court Muzzles Outspoken Newspaper

TEHRAN —
An Iranian court Wednesday revoked the publishing license of a leading moderate newspaper that had rocketed to popularity in its first year with daring reports.

The newspaper, which backs moderate President Mohammad Khatami, can appeal the ruling.
