New Regency Nets $600-Million Credit Line

New Regency Productions, producer of such films as “L.A. Confidential” and “Tin Cup,” has obtained a $600-million credit line arranged by Chase Securities Inc. and Berliner Bank. It includes such banks as BankAmerica, Banque Nationale de Paris, Fleet Bank, Societe Generale and Union Bank of California. The amount is double the previous amount of credit available to the company, which has a production deal with 20th Century Fox. Headed by producer Arnon Milchan, Regency also is a major shareholder in athletic shoe company Puma.
