$150,000 Will Help Youths Study Wildlife
A $150,000 grant from the Toyota U.S.A. Foundation will be presented today to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area for its National Park Labs program.
The grant will support high school students’ studies of wild-land fire ecology, said Catherine Saunders, a spokeswoman for the recreation area.
