Languishing in Kondengui Prison in Yaounde, Cameroon, along with 673 other inmates, is Vincent Onana, president of Cameroon’s soccer federation. He is awaiting trial in connection with the unlawful sale of World Cup tickets.

But that doesn’t mean he’s missing the tournament.

Prison authorities have installed eight television sets in the prison so convicts can watch the Indomitable Lions’ performances in France.

“They may be in prison, but they are also human beings,” said Pong Mini, the prison’s administrator.
