A jury in Seattle began deliberations in a lawsuit brought by a minister, his wife and others who claim they were wrongly accused of participating in a supposed ring of child sexual abuse. The Rev. Roby Roberson, his wife, Connie, and six others are seeking $30 million to $60 million in damages for what their lawyer called a "witch hunt." The Robersons spent more than four months in jail before being acquitted in a criminal trial during a campaign that led to dozens of arrests and convictions on child sexual abuse charges in and around Wenatchee, in central Washington.
