Vigilantes Get Even With Win

The Vigilantes reached .500 for the first time this season by beating host Tri-City, 12-3, in a Western League baseball game Friday.

The Vigilantes (13-13) scored six runs in the third inning to take a 7-0 lead. Tracey Edmonson had the key hit, a three-run double. He also had a run-scoring single in the second.

Manny Gagliano added a two-run single in the fourth to put the Vigilantes ahead, 9-0.

Kirk Irvine (2-1) pitched seven innings for the victory, the fifth in six games for the Vigilantes.
