The hybridizer of numerous popular rose varieties--including Brandy, Brass Band, Gold Medal, Midas Touch, Mon Cheri, Purple Tiger and White Lightnin'--has written an updated version of his Southland rose care booklet.
"The Official Guide for Growing Roses in Southern California According to Jack E. Christensen--Second Edition" is the title of the comprehensive and easy-to-understand 44-page booklet that offers expert advice on every aspect of growing beautiful roses in the Southland.
The booklet, illustrated with line drawings, costs $8, which includes postage and handling. It is available from Jack Christensen, P.O. Box 1231-T2, Ontario, CA 91762.
Christensen also has written a 48-page version for rose growers elsewhere in the United States. For information, write to the same address.
