Riordan to Speak at Realtors’ Event
Mayor Richard Riordan is scheduled to speak about Valley housing and business issues on Wednesday at a breakfast sponsored by the Southland Regional Assn. of Realtors in cooperation with 21 local businesses and organizations.
More than 300 Realtors and business leaders throughout the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys are expected to attend the fifth annual Mayor’s Breakfast to be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd., in Studio City.
Although the event is primarily for Realtors and businesses, tickets are available for all interested parties at $20 each or $175 for a table of 10.
Also expected to participate in the discussion will be Los Angeles County Sheriff Sherman Block and City Councilman Hal Bernson, whose district includes the northwest San Fernando Valley.
Tickets must be purchased by the end of the business day today from the Realtors association, 7232 Balboa Blvd. in Van Nuys.
