If Life Hands You Lemons . . .

Your recipe for Lemon Sponge Pudding (“It’s a Cake! It’s a Pudding! It’s Sorta Magic!” In the Kitchen, April 29) really made me ecstatic. My mother made this in the late ‘20s when I was still at home. I only knew it was real lemony and she baked it. I couldn’t wait to try your recipe--this is it.

I always loved it but never knew how she did it. Now I do, thanks to you.
