Forum to Focus on City Hillsides
The state of the city’s hillsides will be the focus of a public forum June 29 at City Hall.
The forum, sponsored by Village Laguna, will begin with a slide presentation on the characteristics of Laguna’s hillsides. A panel of experts then will address the causes of recent slides in the city and offer an update on repair and prevention measures.
Panel members will include Scot Farquhar, an engineering geologist; Chris Kreymann, a senior planner for the city; Stevan Gromet, a real estate attorney; and Ann Christoph, a landscape architect.
The forum starts at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 505 Forest Ave.
