My wife and I have a mortgage problem that we hope your readers may be able to solve.

We have decided to buy the home we’ve been leasing in Pacific Palisades for the last four years, directly from the owner. It is a beautiful 9-year-old custom-built two-bedroom, two-bath manufactured home with a deck and hot tub in a small (29 homes) mobile home park.

This is a condominium-plan park where homeowners own their lots as well as their homes. There is a homeowners association and a board of directors of park residents.

Our credit is perfect and we are prepared to put down 43%. However, we have not been able to find a single lender on this planet willing to loan on this home. Any readers with helpful suggestions can fax us at (310) 459-4001.
