He Lost Voice but Won Games

Coach Henry Bibby shepherded the Trojans to one of USC’s biggest victories in Thursday’s upset of Arizona, but after his team’s blowout victory over Arizona State on Saturday, Bibby was haggard.
Speaking in a hoarse whisper, Bibby, who stood shouting plays for all of the game against Arizona and most of the game against Arizona State, reflected on the last four months.
“It’s nice to end this way. But it never stops,” Bibby said. “We’ll start right into recruiting. My concern is to find guys with athleticism, quickness, savvy, court awareness and character.”
