Simi Valley Hospital officials announced that Dr. Diane Narhi has been named the center’s new chief of staff, the first woman to hold the position in the hospital’s 32-year history.

As chief of staff, the 48-year-old Narhi is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the entire staff and ensuring that the hospital’s code and bylaws are adhered to.

“Dr. Narhi’s commitment to people inside and out of the hospital is well known and appreciated,” said Alan Rice, hospital president. “We are fortunate to have a chief of staff who cares so deeply about the community we serve.”
