All-News Radio Station Marks 30th Anniversary

KFWB won nine Golden Mike Awards in 1997 for local broadcast journalism, including best newscast and best live coverage.

Here’s a piece of birthday trivia: In 1924, the station was bought by Sam Warner, founder of Warner Bros. So what do those call letters stand for? KFWB says it’s “Keep Filming Warner Bros.”
