Michel R. Thibiant, 72, French civil engineer who co-founded the Thibiant International skin care products company. Thibiant, a decorated French pilot during World War II, immigrated to Los Angeles in 1970 with his wife, Aida, and established their company. Aida Thibiant presided over the Beverly Hills skin care salon the couple opened in 1973 in competition with those of Aida Grey and Georgette Klinger. But it was her husband who oversaw their cosmetics factory in Sylmar.
