Trent Lott

Trent Lott reminds me of a pretzel who bends with the trends. He finally found it in his conscience to admit that Kenneth Starr was bordering on the obnoxious in his pervasive investigations. Then the ol’ boys in the party got him to back off (March 10). This is a great example of how our partisan government works.
