Carrie Routledge, who transferred from Valencia High two years ago, picked up her first victory of the season as Sonora swept Valencia, 3-1 and 3-0, in a nonleague softball doubleheader Wednesday at Sonora.

Routledge, who missed last season because of a fractured back, pitched only four innings in the second game of the day. It was only Routledge’s second appearance since her transfer.

Freshman Carrie Wisen finished the game in relief and picked up her first save of the season, as the two combined to allow seven hits.
