Pack of Dogs

Your article, “High Point of the Morning,” (March 3) showed a poodle on the roof of a car. I was amused until I read that this incident happened because of a pack of dogs chasing down the poodle and encircling the car.

Where are the owners of these dogs? Why are these dogs allowed to run loose? If these dogs are in fact ownerless, then the threat in residential areas is frightening. What is animal control doing?

To have neighborhood children or even adults caught in the middle of a canine brawl would be devastating.
