Career Conference

Share

The spectacular success of Brighter Horizons VI, the conference that brought more than 1,000 girls (and some boys) to Rio Mesa High School on March 7 to explore careers in math, science and technology is a great example of what can be accomplished by people working together.

Our deep appreciation goes, of course, to the more than 40 career women who devoted their time and their expertise to present dynamic workshops.

Somewhere among the girls and young women who attended the conference, there may be a scientist who will cure cancer or explore the stars or perhaps teach another young woman who will. Definitely among those students are young women who learned that they can follow their dream, wherever it might take them.

Thank you to all who made that possible.
