Stephanie Pond-Smith, 45, a film publicist and executive at Carolco Pictures Inc., where she supervised publicity for “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” “Basic Instinct,” “Chaplin,” Stargate” and others films. Later she was unit publicist for “Krippendorf’s Tribe,” “Payback,” “Conspiracy Theory” and “Lolita.” As a child actor she was seen in “Rebel Without a Cause,” “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” and “The Left-Handed Gun.” On location in Reno, Nev., on March 18 of a brain aneurysm.
