Shop Unveils Discounts on Bridal Party Gowns
On weekends only, Bliss Bridals posts a “discount” sign and opens a tiny showroom to the public.
Bridal gowns and flower-girl dresses comprise most of the inventory. After all the expenses of a wedding, who wants to spend upward of $100 on a dress for the flower girl? Of course, you want her to look her most angelic and beautiful, so check out these charming dresses, all with the manufacturer’s Rosebud label.
Expect to spend $50 to $60 (retail $125 to $175) on an exquisite little gown, that would also be appropriate as a first Communion dress or for any other special occasion. Storybook christening gowns are available at wholesale prices as well.
For the bride, gowns from nationally advertised labels such as Alfred Angelo, Eve of Milady, Demetrios, Mori Lee, Watters & Watters, Bill Levkoff and others are available on order at 20% below retail. Sometimes the deals are even better.
For the bride who would like some privacy, here’s an innovation: Bliss representatives will bring a selection of gowns to the bride’s home.
For the mother of the bride (or anyone who loves to dress for the occasion), dressy suits--some made of ottoman, a slightly stretchy silk fabric--are offered at wholesale prices.
The in-house inventory on such items is quite small, but dresses and suits may be ordered at the same factory prices as those on the racks. The regular cost is $225 and up, but by purchasing here you can cut the price to $75 to $125.
