Concert Benefits Memorial Fund

Share

A concert benefiting the Bob Benson Memorial Fund will be held April 2 at Esperanza High School.

Benson, a popular chemistry teacher at the school, died last spring of liver cancer. The fund will be used toward a $25,000 memorial wall project in observance of local students and teachers who have died.

The concert will include a performance by local band No Authority and songs from teachers and students, including selections from the “Sound of Music” and parodies of New Kids on the Block and the Spice Girls.
