City Delivers Sales Pitch to Delegation From Tijuana
Tijuana Mayor Osuna Millan and dozens of prominent business leaders from that city visited Santa Ana on Friday to meet with civic and business leaders.
The group came at the invitation of Mayor Miguel A. Pulido Jr., who has hosted delegations from several Mexican cities and other countries in an effort to promote Santa Ana’s businesses abroad.
“Our businesses have to think globally on an increasing basis,” Pulido said, “and we are doing what we can to help them.”
In the last several years, business leaders have come from as far away as South Korea, Taiwan, Argentina and France.
Pulido said the city has studied the program and is convinced the exchanges help Santa Ana’s businesses increase international profits.
