Biehl Will Give Talk on Forgiveness
Linda Biehl, whose daughter Amy was killed in South Africa nearly five years ago while trying to improve the political plight of residents there, will be the guest speaker Saturday at the Crystal Cathedral’s annual Easter Inspiration Brunch for Women.
Biehl will speak on the motto of forgiveness she has adopted since the death of her daughter in 1993. A Stanford graduate from Newport Beach, Amy Biehl, 26, was killed while helping with voter registration for South Africa’s first all-race election that ended apartheid.
The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the cathedral’s arboretum. Tickets are $15.
