Thirty-two firefighters from the Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley fire departments responded to the Huntington Beach Continental Apartment Complex in the 1700 block of Springdale Street just after 5:30 p.m.

The fire, which began in an apartment and damaged three others units, was contained in 35 minutes and is still under investigation, authorities said.
