UCLA Hosts USC, BYU in Track
USC and UCLA will renew one of the top rivalries in collegiate track and field today when they compete against each other and Brigham Young in a double-dual meet at Drake Stadium.
USC edged UCLA, 135-130, for the 1997 Pacific 10 Conference men’s track title, but the Bruins have defeated the Trojans in 19 consecutive dual meets, scoring an 88-75 victory last year.
USC and UCLA are tied for seventh in the TrackWire national rankings.
UCLA is shooting for its sixth consecutive dual-meet victory over USC in the women’s meet.
The meet will start with the field events at 11:30 a.m.
