Conejo Valley Home Sales Jump to 351 in March

There were 351 single-family homes sold in the Conejo Valley in March, compared with 221 in February and 246 a year earlier, according to the Conejo Valley Assn. of Realtors.

The median sales price for single-family homes sold in March was $281,817, up from the March 1997 figure of $239,061.

The median price breakdown in March was $163,333 for 20 homes with up to two bedrooms, $225,714 for 120 three-bedroom homes and $339,215 for 214 homes with four or more bedrooms. Last year’s median prices were $165,000 for 20 two-bedroom homes, $206,000 for 76 three-bedroom homes and $281,481 for 150 houses with four or more bedrooms.

There were 93 condominiums sold in the Conejo Valley in March, compared with 74 in February and 70 a year earlier.

Sales for real estate transactions in February totaled $139.63 million. A year earlier the total was $101.18 million.
