Nomura Named as Microbiology Fellow

UC Irvine biological chemistry professor Masayasu Nomura has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.

The academy is the only worldwide organization devoted entirely to microbiologists and the science of microbiology, officials said.

More than 1,300 scientists from 30 countries have been elected to join.
