Street Resurfacing Planned for Weekends Until June
Resurfacing of more than a mile of Sunset Boulevard will continue on weekends until early June, officials said.
City street maintenance workers began work Saturday on the area to be repaved, which stretches from Via de la Paz in the center of town to Marquez Avenue, said Edward O’Neal of the Los Angeles Department of Public Works.
Work is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. until June 7, excluding Memorial Day weekend, O’Neal said.
Traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction while work is underway, and drivers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
