The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has joined the search for a 16-year-old girl, whose boyfriend reportedly said he had killed her before he committed suicide.

Tineshia Rene Jackson was last seen in the company of her boyfriend, Sean Spenser, on March 2, three days before his suicide, West Covina police said. Before his death, a despondent Spenser told a friend that he had killed Jackson, detectives said.

Police say they have no leads in the case and no one has heard from Jackson.

She is described by police as African American, about 5 foot 1, with her name tattooed on her chest and a tattoo of a rose on her left thigh. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
