E.P. Foster Library Project
Kudos to the city leaders of Ventura for having the courage to vote for redesigning the E.P. Foster Library among many other projects.
As a member of the Friends of the Camarillo Library, I talked to many patrons at the Friends’ book sale in April. The majority of those attending believed the Camarillo City Council was supporting the library financially on an annual basis.
Wake up, citizens! The Camarillo City Council does not acknowledge any financial responsibility for our Camarillo library. It is a county facility and they abrogate any financial involvement.
I ask the residents of Camarillo, both in the city proper and the county, to voice their outrage at the position of this City Council. Let council members know we deserve a first-class library, and we can only achieve this goal with their annual financial commitment.
