Pan Am Corp. won approval from a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge for a $28.5-million buyout by Guilford Transportation Industries, a Billerica, Mass.-based railroad company. Judge A. Jay Cristol of Miami ordered the airline to give another possible bidder financial data and said he was duty-bound to consider any higher offer, but that he was skeptical a better offer would be made.
